The walker allows your pet to move around by using only its front legs.

There are 2 kinds of walkers.

The first is made to individual specifications out of a plastic shell and an aluminium frame. As the wheelchair is made to individual specifications and fitted with a good bandage, it stays in place well.

The second type is more common and is a prefabricated walker. It is adjusted individually to your pet, but has a standard aluminium frame.

Wheelchairs can be rented as well as purchased. There are certain types of prefabricated walkers that can be used when the front legs are having problems. They are the fully supported walkers.
